Temporary Memory Loss

After a very peaceful night in our lovely host's, Joanne's home in Stirling, we were on our way. Stirling has a very large memorial monument built in the 1800's to the famous "William Wallace" who was a famous Scottish clan  leader from the 13th century. Think Mel Gibbson and Braveheart!  This monument was at the top of a very large hill so our morning exercise was to climb this hill and take in the views and the monument. We managed the steep walk pretty well and were rewarded with beautiful views of the monument and Stirling. Out came the camera and imagine my surprise when the camera was not able to take the photos because the memory card was missing. Where was it?.... Still in Rob’s lap-top. Oh well we at least had
the go-pro! Following this little adventure we drove further north into Scotland. We visited the Falls of Falloch and then saw some amazing scenery in the Scottish highlands. We had lunch at Fort William and then travelled on to Loch Ness. Unfotunately Nessie stayed hidden but have to say the scenery has been just so beautiful. We are staying in Inverness for the next 2 nights. I love the Scottish accents but Rob does have difficulty understanding people.
